During the 21st Annual Essence Festival, gospel and R&B stars gathered together to pay honor and tribute to the incomparable artist, vocalist, songwriter and arranger Kim Burrell. After a soul stirring performance by Jonathan McReynolds, Kim Burrell took the mic and began an impromptu mic toss with stars like India Arie, Chrisette Michelle, Anita Wilson, Jason Nelson, Isaac Carree, The Walls Group and Lalah Hathaway…who gave us a treat of self-harmonizing!
